Who Is Simply radiant magazine?

For so many women, walking in the shame that comes from emotional injuries, bad choices, costly consequences and belief in the lies of today’s culture is a way of life. It’s a hard way to live. It’s hard on the body, the mind and the soul and it gives the enemy of this world a foothold that keeps women from living the life Jesus died for.

For more than 20 years, Angel Cantrell has had a passion for helping young women walk in freedom, wholeness and victory. Her heart wants women to find healing from past hurts, replacing the lies of the enemy with the truth of Jesus. Having overcome the shame of being sexually abused as a child fuels her desire to see women live lives that are deeply embedded in an intimate relationship with Christ, and from that relationship, find their true beauty. Psalm 34:5 is the foundation of her ministry: “Those who look to Him are Radiant; Their faces are never covered in shame.”

Angel’s desire to see women live lives that reflect their true beauty led to the birth of Simply Radiant Magazine, a ministry of Living Victory Church. Living Victory Church is the fellowship Angel and her husband Dwayne began as a way to empower believers to live in victory. Available free online (print copies are $5), the magazine’s staff is a powerful collection of women ages 19-52, married and single from a variety of ethnic backgrounds. These women have surrendered their hearts to Jesus and have a desire to please and serve Him with abandon.

Each issue of the magazine shares powerful testimonies, beautiful photography and practical tips on how to be healthy body, mind and spirit. Every article highlights how women have been touched by Jesus so that lies are exposed, freeing them to share the truth that changes lives.
